From studying Electrical Engineering (Light Current) to Massage Therapy and thereafter Energy Healing. Full time Mathematics and Engineering Science lecturer and Part time massage Therapist and Energy Healing Practitioner.

Since a young age I have been passionate about helping others and comforting them. It started with my family for whenever they were around me they needed a massage, either their shoulders, head or even their feet were sore. And after their massage they felt great. In return, I was told I have healing hands, which work magically. And it grew to friends with lending them a listening ear or just being in their space.

My journey as a massage therapist started in the year 2007 studying at “The Beauty Specialist Training Centre” in Ballito and thereafter at “The Healing Hands” in Ballito as well. In 2008, I started my practice called “Reni’s Massage Salon”. And some years later I introduced slimming treatments.

In 2015, my practice name changed to The Rest Nest (to honour my family name, brother and husband). In order to also introduce energy healing. My journey into Energy Healing stemmed from the loss of my brother in 2012, my husband in 2013 and uncle in 2014. When I needed to find myself and heal myself. On doing this, I found my purpose as a healer and teacher on the spiritual path.

It started in 2014 when I ventured to Pretoria for a weekend workshop on Reiki and thereafter found ENERGENCIA in Hillcrest, KZN. That went from one module of Reiki to another module to another namely,

USUI Reiki which helped me with emotional healing, balancing my energy levels and aided in my spiritual development.

KARUNA Reiki, which means “any action taken to diminish the suffering of others”. I call it compassionate energy.

GENDAI Reiki - This is a journey taken without ego, taking you closer to your bliss. A fusion of Traditional Reiki with Western Reiki.

JIKIDEN Reiki, Reiki as it was originally taught in Japan. It is pure, simple and extremely effective.

SEICHEM Reiki, The energy works with you to help you take responsibility for your life to heal, to grow and develop both personally and spiritually so that your fill potential and soul purpose are fulfilled.

CRYSTAL Healing , Crystals are healing tools. The energy and vibration of crystals magnify and amplify the energies that balance and energies us at a cellular and auric level.

It doesn’t stop here for me as I am now exploring the path to “Shamanism”.
